Limbo: Just pull it's leg off they said!
Decided to continue Limbo today since I was on a mission to finish a game this weekend. Sadly for me I couldn't remember the controls and I ended up spending a half hour trying to pull a spider's leg off (Skip to 29 minutes to avoid the horror). Thankfully I was able to continue the journey after working out the controls again.
Fran Bow: Give me my Cat!
Since we are in this strange house might as well ransack it for things I need in order to solve puzzles later. Again seems pretty standard place, clean kitchen, nice dinner table set up with lots of sweets, a dead body in the study area, creepy dolls in the bedroom.
Eventually, we locate Mr. Midnight up in the attic locked in a cage. Poor guy, we have to get him out. Sadly he is being held hostage along with us by two conjoined twin girls who are not very nice. They say we have to obey them cause they are older and if I don’t do what they say they will make me kill Mr. Midnight myself. So, I’m stuck doing what they say.
They want me to complete a ritual that will separate them again. I’m kind of sensing they were conjoined for a reason, probably to teach them a lesson about getting along or something. I go about starting to collect the supplies I need to make the ritual.
When I return to the kitchen a skeleton man is in the window and opens it for me. He seems to be trying to help me out and I hop out the window. I find a toad there who is also trapped by the twins and he tells us to not complete the ritual they wanted due to it will get me killed. He instead hands me another ritual which will free us from this place.
Since I trust the toad more than those evil girls I decide to make his recipe instead (not that I think I have a choice in the matter). I complete that recipe and ritual which destroys the twin girls and gives me a key.
Sadly this is not the key for Mr. Midnight’s cage but it is instead the key to the MIRROR. I spent so long trying to find this “lock” since it was well hidden in the environment. This lead to a sliding puzzle which gives us a key and a bit more back story about the twins. It turns out they were conjoined because they wanted to kill their mother and they both hated each other. I guess serves them right.
I unlock Mr. Midnight’s cage and we are finally reunited! Too bad we are stuck on this island. Well good thing giving baking soda to a toad make it grow bigger and we can ride it across the water.

Fran Bow: Making a break for it!
The time has come to make a break for it and get out of this madhouse so we can find Mr. Midnight. It seems Mr. Midnight wants us to go to a maze in order to find him, but in order to get to the maze we need to get out of here.
Thankfully, since I found the codes for the door I can easily get out now after tricking the nurse away from her station. Sadly for me I’m bad at number puzzles and it took me a minute to get the right numbers, but after that we were on our way following our mechanical Mr. Midnight.
The maze was pretty simple as mazes go, but I ended up dying a few times before making it to the end. This lead us to the Woods where we met some random heads stuck in a tree, giant ant and a giant pill bug. Of course they all have problems we have to fix and this is completely normal.
After completing their tasks we enter a door that we just placed on a well which led us to a house…and now I have a Mr. Midnight hat?

Diablo 3 Season 8: Yohan the Yeti
Today we have a special guest this season thanks to one of the pet goblins I located during my playing offline. A Yeti pet, who during the course of the stream now has a name, Yohan! He will be joining me on my adventures this season since there isn’t a seasonal pet this time and it is highly unlikely I will run into another pet goblin since the RNG clearly has it out for me this season.
I’m still trying to gear up for my new build, so things are still moving pretty slow. I did get two Flow of Eternities which turned out to be rather useful for the build I am currently using. It helps me pop off Seven Side Strike quicker, which waiting for it to come off of cool down has been one of the major ways I’ve been dying. I’m still dying quite a bit due to not enough defense, but hopefully that will change once I get max gems and my new build going.
Hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving!

The Elder Scrolls Online: Just another Day in the Life of a Breton
Since it was free weekend for Elder Scrolls Online I figure I would take it for a spin. I have played some of the Elder Scroll games in the past and I did enjoy them. However, the problem with these games is they tended to give me motion sickness which means I can’t play them for long periods of time, which is often required by MMOs. So, giving me a chance to try it out for free is a big plus for me.
I created a Breton Sorcerer and I set on my way…and I quickly found out that I was already dead. Not even out of the first area and already walking zombie. My guide was all like we have to rescue the Prophet and start saving the world kind of thing. Honestly, I wanted to stay back with "madman" Cadwell and just spend the rest of the time talking with him. He honestly didn’t seem that crazy to me and really was just trying to make the best of a bad situation.
After we save the Prophet and I didn’t have to actually sacrifice myself for once in order to do so we had to figure a way out of there. What better way than to take an Anchor, which is more well known for its role in the Wizard of Oz as the Tornado.
We get separated of course and the Prophet seems to have landed in United States Congress and sadly I just fell in the middle of the ocean somewhere. Luckily there was a ship nearby that was having a mutiny and also the Prophet managed to borrow Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Holorecorder to yell at me to start helping out the locals.
After I got off the ship I was side tracked by all the animals that were in the game. I really was a bit surprised by the pets you could have and also the wildlife in the game. However, now I have to break some thief out of jail because my Captain needs a new crew since the other one decided to mutiny. What better person to have on your crew than someone who can steal everything.

Pokemon Go Update
It has been a long time since I did an update for Pokemon Go and a lot has changed with my top line up. With colder weather starting to make it’s way into my area means that I will not be able to do as much hunting as I would like to be. Due to the weather, Pokemon Go Updates are probably going to be reduced to once a month. I will still be posting unique catches and hatches to my twitter @randomkatgaming when they happen.
I really really want to get my hands on a Pokemon Go Plus due to it makes farming in colder weather easier. However, they have been sold out online and pretty much everywhere since they were released. If I do manage to get ahold of one I will try to increase updates back to once a week. However, until then here is my top line up since my last update!

Diablo 3 Season 8: Easy as 123
I finally settled on a build for my monk this season and it is a variation on a Sunwuko’s build. We shall see how it works out since I have never run a build like the is before. It will probably lead to lots of death I’m betting.
I also have a new set up I am working with (Yay dual monitors!). So I apologize if the sound cut out from me switching to the other monitor. I’m a noob.
Not much going on here besides getting to the mythical Paragon 123 and farming T5 greater rifts to upgrade gems. I still do not have max normal gems which is really starting to annoy me. However, at least I can start using my money towards that instead of wasting it trying to get a socket in a weapon.

Diablo 3 Season 8: I need Monk 101
Now that I’m less sleep deprived, I decided to continue pushing Grifts. However, first thing first was to see if I could get a socket in a weapon so I can move on in the Seasonal Journey. I decided to use a different weapon since the weapon I had been using is now taking 1 million to roll and I don’t have that kind of money to be burning at the moment.
As if Myriam knew I had been through enough pain and it was now time to mock me gave me a socket on the second try. Myriam I hate you…sometimes. Since I now completed the chapter 4, I now got the last few pieces of Uliana’s set and now move on with my life.
With that, I was able to start doing Torment 5 pretty easily now and gave Grift 27 a shot. Still need to work on getting the equipment so this build can do higher Grifts, but I really don’t want to run an exploding palm monk this season. If you have any suggestions for other solo monk builds please let me know!

24 Hour Live Stream for Extra Life!
Sorry for the lack of updates. It has been a bit crazy since my live stream for Extra Life. I will be returning to a more standard schedule (including Pokemon Go updates!) soon.
However, time for some needed catch up. For those who did not get the chance to watch my 24 hour live stream raising money for Extra Life I have created a playlist on YouTube with higher quality videos. From what I’ve been told the sound levels may be a bit choppy even though I did sound checks prior to each game. Give me a break I was pretty loopy with lack of sleep.
I ended up raising a total of $60.00 which was mostly from friends of mine, but if you would like to still donate please use the link below. I am planning on continuing to participate in events for this charity in the future and if you Iknow of any other charities I should look into please let me know. I love the idea of using gaming for good.

Dead Space: Zero G makes me SICK
As we move on to Chapter 2 of Dead Space we quickly find that we are sent to retrieve the credentials of the former captain of the Ishimura who is currently in the medical bay in a non-living state. We quickly hop the first tram to the medical bay after learning how to use the store. Buying things we probably didn’t need, like ammo, and not buying things we probably did need, like med packs.
In order to get to the morgue where the now frozen dead captain is we needed to blow up the barricade blocking the door for some reason. Of course, we need to use the supplies commonly found in the medical bay in order to do so. Thankfully in the world of Dead Space one of the things they keep in the medical bay is thermite. I guess their medical bay was staffed with engineers and not doctors. Makes perfect sense since engineers in this world have to fix EVERYTHING.
My mistake at the shop was quickly made clear after running low on health and realizing I have nothing to heal with. My inability to aim now mixed with low health left me in a tough spot to either get good or die a lot.
During this chapter, they introduced to air free zones and also my new favorite thing in the world Zero G. Now the sarcasm is out of the way some seriousness. I am really sensitive to motion sickness at least when it comes to some kind of games. I frequently refer to this as “Game Sickness”. Jumping around and having up become down suddenly isn’t the best thing for a person who suffers from this. I pray these areas are not many cause it really did start making me feel ill.
After getting sick from Zero G we return to blow up the barricade. However, unlike Issac I have to take a break to settle my weak stomach which refuses to get good.
I was playing in order to support Extra Live which is a charity to support Children’s Hospitals! Please Donate to Extra Live here: http://www.extra-life.org/participant/randomkat

Diablo 3 Season 8: Getting them Keys
Yet again trying to complete the first four chapters of the seasonal journey. Thankfully thanks to my playing offline I was able to complete the third chapter very quickly since I only had two things left in it. This left just the fourth chapter to complete.
I was able to get most of the fourth chapter done. This included running my first Grift of the season at level 20. There was one little thing I didn’t get completed though…getting a socket in a weapon. Here we go again…
