I decided to check out the new Pokemon game that hit the US, Magikarp Jump. I can say it a pretty simple game overall and it appears to have Piplup who is one of my favorite Pokemon. Pro...I mean Mayor Karp...is your guide in this game and the first person you talk to. He is clearly a professor of some kind, but I guess he gave up that to pursue politics? Basically, you're the town of Hoppy which is obsessed with Magikarp. Your goal is to train a Magikarp to be the best jumper. Somehow by you wining leagues brings prestige to the town and will cause the Magikarp in town to cheer up.
So I set out and caught my first Magikarp and started training him Rocky style. The training is just games where you tap the screen a lot so again pretty basic stuff.
I would also like to note that you will get some random encounters well training and well...the creep factor is growing on Mayor Karp. He keeps wanting to give my Magikarp a massage and I think its best I don't think about that too much.
Once my Magikarp was ready we quickly hopped through the first league.
However, my Magikarp had hit max level by then and all I could do was leagues until inevitably my Magikarp lost. Once your Magikarp loses it retires. Honestly, for wanting to provide encouragement to future Magikarp this is not the way to do it. What does it say to Magikarp that once you lose your jumping career is over? Why not let me choose to continue training my little Magikarp and letting him learn from losing? I mean I got a little attached to my first Magikarp in the short time I played so I was surprised that I will never be able to use my first Magikarp again. However, this appears to be the only way to get the new patterns.
Hopefully, Steve will not be discouraged by my first Magikarp glaring at him from the deep. He is also sporting a nice spotted pattern.
You have done a good job with your knowledge that makes our work easy because you are providing such good information about generation. Keep sharing this kind of knowledge with us. xcom 2 dlc xbox one
