Limbo: Great I got Glow Worms

Limbo: Just pull it's leg off they said!

Decided to continue Limbo today since I was on a mission to finish a game this weekend. Sadly for me I couldn't remember the controls and I ended up spending a half hour trying to pull a spider's leg off (Skip to 29 minutes to avoid the horror).  Thankfully I was able to continue the journey after working out the controls again.

Fran Bow: Give me my Cat!

Since we are in this strange house might as well ransack it for things I need in order to solve puzzles later. Again seems pretty standard place, clean kitchen, nice dinner table set up with lots of sweets, a dead body in the study area, creepy dolls in the bedroom.

Eventually, we locate Mr. Midnight up in the attic locked in a cage. Poor guy, we have to get him out. Sadly he is being held hostage along with us by two conjoined twin girls who are not very nice. They say we have to obey them cause they are older and if I don’t do what they say they will make me kill Mr. Midnight myself. So, I’m stuck doing what they say.

They want me to complete a ritual that will separate them again. I’m kind of sensing they were conjoined for a reason, probably to teach them a lesson about getting along or something. I go about starting to collect the supplies I need to make the ritual.

When I return to the kitchen a skeleton man is in the window and opens it for me. He seems to be trying to help me out and I hop out the window. I find a toad there who is also trapped by the twins and he tells us to not complete the ritual they wanted due to it will get me killed. He instead hands me another ritual which will free us from this place.

Since I trust the toad more than those evil girls I decide to make his recipe instead (not that I think I have a choice in the matter). I complete that recipe and ritual which destroys the twin girls and gives me a key.

Sadly this is not the key for Mr. Midnight’s cage but it is instead the key to the MIRROR. I spent so long trying to find this “lock” since it was well hidden in the environment. This lead to a sliding puzzle which gives us a key and a bit more back story about the twins. It turns out they were conjoined because they wanted to kill their mother and they both hated each other. I guess serves them right.

I unlock Mr. Midnight’s cage and we are finally reunited! Too bad we are stuck on this island. Well good thing giving baking soda to a toad make it grow bigger and we can ride it across the water.

Fran Bow: Making a break for it!

The time has come to make a break for it and get out of this madhouse so we can find Mr. Midnight. It seems Mr. Midnight wants us to go to a maze in order to find him, but in order to get to the maze we need to get out of here.

Thankfully, since I found the codes for the door I can easily get out now after tricking the nurse away from her station. Sadly for me I’m bad at number puzzles and it took me a minute to get the right numbers, but after that we were on our way following our mechanical Mr. Midnight.

The maze was pretty simple as mazes go, but I ended up dying a few times before making it to the end. This lead  us to the Woods where we met some random heads stuck in a tree, giant ant and a giant pill bug.  Of course they all have problems we have to fix and this is completely normal.

After completing their tasks we enter a door that we just placed on a well which led us to a house…and now I have a Mr. Midnight hat?

Diablo 3 Season 8: Yohan the Yeti

Today we have a special guest this season thanks to one of the pet goblins I located during my playing offline. A Yeti pet, who during the course of the stream now has a name, Yohan! He will be joining me on my adventures this season since there isn’t a seasonal pet this time and it is highly unlikely I will run into another pet goblin since the RNG clearly has it out for me this season.

I’m still trying to gear up for my new build, so things are still moving pretty slow. I did get two Flow of Eternities which turned out to be rather useful for the build I am currently using. It helps me pop off Seven Side Strike quicker, which waiting for it to come off of cool down has been one of the major ways I’ve been dying. I’m still dying quite a bit due to not enough defense, but hopefully that will change once I get max gems and my new build going.

Hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving!

The Elder Scrolls Online: Just another Day in the Life of a Breton

Since it was free weekend for Elder Scrolls Online I figure I would take it for a spin. I have played some of the Elder Scroll games in the past and I did enjoy them. However, the problem with these games is they tended to give me motion sickness which means I can’t play them for long periods of time, which is often required by MMOs. So, giving me a chance to try it out for free is a big plus for me.

I created a Breton Sorcerer and I set on my way…and I quickly found out that I was already dead. Not even out of the first area and already walking zombie.  My guide was all like we have to rescue the Prophet and start saving the world kind of thing. Honestly, I wanted to stay  back with  "madman" Cadwell and just spend the rest of the time talking with him. He honestly didn’t seem that crazy to me and really was just  trying to make the best of a bad situation.

After we save the Prophet and I didn’t have to actually sacrifice myself for once in order to do so we had to figure a way out of there. What better way than to take an Anchor, which is more well known for its role in the Wizard of Oz as the Tornado.

We get separated of course and the Prophet seems to have landed in United States Congress and sadly I just fell in the middle of the ocean somewhere. Luckily there was a ship nearby that was having a mutiny and also the Prophet managed to borrow Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Holorecorder to yell at me to start helping out the locals.

After I got off the ship I was side tracked by all the animals that were in the game. I really was a bit surprised by the pets you could have and also the wildlife in the game. However, now I have to break some thief out of jail because my Captain needs a new crew since the other one decided to mutiny. What better person to have on your crew than someone who can steal everything.

Pokemon Go Update

It has been a long time since I did an update for Pokemon Go and a lot has changed with my top line up. With colder weather starting to make it’s way into my area means that I will not be able to do as much hunting as I would like to be. Due to the weather, Pokemon Go Updates are probably going to be reduced to once a month. I will still be posting unique catches and hatches to my twitter @randomkatgaming when they happen.

I really really want to get my hands on a Pokemon Go Plus due to it makes farming in colder weather easier. However, they have been sold out online and pretty much everywhere since they were released. If I do manage to get ahold of one I will try to increase updates back to once a week. However, until then here is my top line up since my last update!

Diablo 3 Season 8: Easy as 123

I finally settled on a build for my monk this season and it is a variation on a Sunwuko’s build. We shall see how it works out since I have never run a build like the is before. It will probably lead to lots of death I’m betting.

I also have a new set up I am working with (Yay dual monitors!). So I apologize if the sound cut out from me switching to the other monitor. I’m a noob.

Not much going on here besides getting to the mythical Paragon 123 and farming T5 greater rifts to upgrade gems. I still do not have max normal gems which is really starting to annoy me. However, at least I can start using my money towards that instead of wasting it trying to get a socket in a weapon.

Diablo 3 Season 8: I need Monk 101

Now that I’m less sleep deprived, I decided to continue pushing Grifts. However, first thing first was to see if I could get a socket in a weapon so I can move on in the Seasonal Journey.  I decided to use a different weapon since the weapon I had been using is now taking 1 million to roll and I don’t have that kind of money to be burning at the moment.

As if Myriam knew I had been through enough pain and it was now time to mock me gave me a socket on the second try. Myriam I hate you…sometimes. Since I now completed the chapter 4, I now got the last few pieces of Uliana’s set and now move on with my life.

With that, I was able to start doing Torment 5 pretty easily now and gave Grift 27 a shot.  Still need to work on getting the equipment so this build can do higher Grifts, but I really don’t want to run an exploding palm monk this season. If you have any suggestions for other solo monk builds please let me know!

24 Hour Live Stream for Extra Life!

Sorry for the lack of updates. It has been a bit crazy since my live stream for Extra Life. I will be returning to a more standard schedule (including Pokemon Go updates!) soon.

However, time for some needed catch up. For those who did not get the chance to watch my 24 hour live stream raising money for Extra Life I have created a playlist on YouTube with higher quality videos. From what I’ve been told the sound levels may be a bit choppy even though I did sound checks prior to each game. Give me a break I was pretty loopy with lack of sleep.

I ended up raising a total of $60.00 which was mostly from friends of mine, but if you would like to still donate please use the link below. I am planning on continuing to participate in events for this charity in the future and if you Iknow of any other charities I should look into please let me know. I love the idea of using gaming for good.

Dead Space: Zero G makes me SICK

As we move on to Chapter 2 of Dead Space we quickly find that we are sent to retrieve the credentials of the former captain of the Ishimura who is currently in the medical bay in a non-living state. We quickly hop the first tram to the medical bay after learning how to use the store. Buying things we probably didn’t need, like ammo,  and not buying things we probably did need, like med packs.

In order to get to the morgue where the now frozen dead captain is we needed to blow up the barricade blocking the door for some reason. Of course, we need to use the supplies commonly found in the medical bay in order to do so. Thankfully in the world of Dead Space one of the things they keep in the medical bay is thermite. I guess their medical bay was staffed with engineers and not doctors. Makes perfect sense since engineers in this world have to fix EVERYTHING.

My mistake at the shop was quickly made clear after running low on health and realizing I have nothing to heal with. My inability to aim now mixed with low health left me in a tough spot to either get good or die a lot.

During this chapter, they introduced to air free zones and also my new favorite thing in the world Zero G. Now the sarcasm is out of the way some seriousness. I am really sensitive to motion sickness at least when it comes to some kind of games. I frequently refer to this as “Game Sickness”. Jumping around and having up become down suddenly isn’t the best thing for a person who suffers from this. I pray these areas are not many cause it really did start making me feel ill.

After getting sick from Zero G  we return to blow up the barricade. However, unlike Issac I have to take a break to settle my weak stomach which refuses to get good.

Diablo 3 Season 8: Getting them Keys

Yet again trying to complete the first four chapters of the seasonal journey. Thankfully thanks to my playing offline I was able to complete the third chapter very quickly since I only had two things left in it. This left just the fourth chapter to complete.

I was able to get most of the fourth chapter done. This included running my first Grift of the season at level 20. There was one little thing I didn’t get completed though…getting a socket in a weapon. Here we go again…

Dead Space: No One Listens to the Engineer

Being that it is Halloween weekend, I figure I would change things up a bit and play something a bit more on the scary end of things. I searched through my steam library for games I have yet to play and realized I have not played Dead Space yet.

For full disclosure, I did see playthroughs of the game in the past, but I can’t remember where every jump scare is. All I can say is I think I have been corrupted by my years of horror movie watching and thus I was able to predict where a lot of them were going to occur anyway. Sorry, my reactions are not as stellar as say other lets players. If you are looking for a scream fest this isn’t going to be it.

Now for the game! Clearly, the first lesson of the game was no one listens to the Engineer and that quickly everyone abandons you to fix everything (just like real life!). I did get stuck twice during the game.  Once during the tutorial, because I exited out of the prompt without looking at what buttons I was suppose to hit in order to complete the task. The second time was with clearing the tram. Maybe I am just an idiot, but that wasn’t very clear to me at all what I was suppose to do.  It’s most likely I’m an idiot since  I seemed to have blown up our only way off the Ishimura.

Diablo 3 Season 8: Completing Chapters

Now that I am finally migraine free after three days of misery, time to show the demons of the Buring Hells who is boss…and probably die several times well doing so. Today’s mission was to actually get as many of the Season Journey chapters completed. I was able to complete the first two and make a little bit of progress on Chapter 3.  Hopefully, now that my gear is improving and I have the first pieces of the Uliana things will go faster. At the very least I can say I am very entertained by the fact I can now make things explode.

Weekly Pokemon Go Update

A day late, but here is the Pokemon Go update for this week! Managed to catch quite a few new things this week and my top Pokemon actually shifted around quite a bit due to Evolvefest the other day.

Let’s start out with some very nice hatches this week.

I was very surprised to get a Snorlax from an egg. I honestly think it was Pokemon Go way of mocking me for not running this weekend. Now on to my only catch of the week.

Last but not least here is the updated top Pokemon.

Diablo 3 Season 8: Finally Level 70

Levels keep coming fast as Qwerty makes her way to level 70. For some reason, it seems like she is leveling much quicker than my Witch Doctor last season. It could be just due to Witch Doctors are harder to level early on or maybe Monks are just better like that. Same old rifts, so nothing to call home about. Getting Marque Gems now and  Goblins are showing up pretty regularly which is nice considering I’m still broke.

I ended up growing a bit impatient trying to get to 70 and ended up trying to do Expert. It seems that was a bad idea since the RNG decided that it would be a wonderful idea to start stacking Unique packs right on top of each other after hearing me complain about the lack of Unique packs. Due to this reason I ended up going b ack to Hard for the rest of the time.

I did finally hit level 70 which means now the real game begins! Now the important question is what build to go with.

Pokemon Go Lucky Egg Evolvefest

After getting yet another warning that I was out of Pokemon storage I decided that it was time to do some storage cleaning and use my last Lucky Egg. This of course means I need to start evolving lots of things in order to get the most experience I can out of my 30 minutes. I already had a bunch of Pidgeys and Weedles ready to go, but I also had some Pokemon I was waiting to evolve just for this reason. I figure I would go ahead and share them. They are in no particular order.

(As an FYI, it’s CP is 1026)

After all of this evolving, I did manage to finally hit level 24. Let the party commence! No new Lucky Egg though. :(

Diablo Season 8: Day 2

I am continuing my quest to get to 70 as a Monk in Season 8! With the beginning of every season, there is always the same problem. Not enough Gold. Even getting enough money to remove your gems from your equipment becomes a challenge till you can start running higher level stuff.

To my surprise, I was getting a lot of goblin packs and I was thinking “Wow I should be able to get quite a bit of gold!”. Sadly for me, none of them were the yellow goblins which drop more gold and I still found myself broke as I was before.

Though the boredom that comes with running normal rifts over and over again was broken with something I haven’t seen in a while. A cow rift! This is I think only the second time I have ever seen this rift and it was a welcome break to the monotony of the same rifts over and over again.

Though I didn’t get a Staff of Herding at the end of the rift, I did get something called a Man Prodder which is a unique Polearm transmog. I think it was a nice touch considering how rare the rift is. After that, it was same old same old rifts and I ended at 58. Only 12 levels to go until the real game starts!

At the end of the evening though I was a bit surprised to find Qwerty looking much better than when she did yesterday since usually the higher the level the crazier they look. No need to call the fashion police today.

Diablo 3 Season 8: It Begins!

After a week off of Diablo 3, Season 8 has begun and with that a new character gets to take on run to do as high of Grifts as possible. This time I decided to go with a Monk, but the hardest question was which Monk? You see I have 3 Monks and each have names I love. So it was a really hard choice to pick between the three.

In the end I decided to go with my Monk that actually means quite a bit to me, Qwerty. You see Qwerty was named after my first cat I had bought with my own money and had total responsibility for. Sadly she passed away at the age of 6 this past July from what was likely cancer. She now lives on in Diablo as a Monk which really represents her attitude and character.

I made quite a bit of progress in the first hour, but with a lot of dying due to I set the difficulty too high and ended up having to lower it. I found my first legendary of the season at level 9 and managed to make it to level 19 by the time I needed to take a break.

Now that I set the difficulty down to Hard and getting some better equipment under my belt things are going much smoother. At this point in the game, I think it is better to just get rifts done quickly than try to push the difficulty for only a small gain in experience. More legendaries are dropping which is always nice and with some nice speed skills it is making it easier to just avoid trash and go right for the uniques.  Still a long way to go, but progress is progress!

At the end, as always I decided to take a screenshot of my character’s current look. I think someone needs to call the fashion police cause it is already looking pretty crazy.

Summoners Wars Update

I haven’t done a Summoners Wars update in awhile so here the interesting things that have occurred since I hit level 50.

World’s worst Legendary Scroll Summon.

Got my Sky Tribe Totem to level 10! Took forever, but well worth it for that sweet +15% Speed.

Last but not least I six starred Verdehile. I decided to go ahead and six star him due to I need him for raids and he is just an overall great monster.

Diablo 3 Season 8: I am ready!

It was a hard choice, but I decided I am going to be taking a monk spin. Seeya in Season 8!

Weekly Pokemon Go Update

A bit late this morning, but here is my weekly Pokemon Go Update. This week they released the new patch for Pokemon Go which included catch bonuses. Due to there not being much of a variety of Pokemon where I live this is probably going to be hard. I am still proud of my badges.

Catches of the week include a very angry Pidgey found on my desk after my lunch walk.

Last the world’s most evil Eevee.

Diablo 3 Season 7: Season Finale

Last two hours of the Season 7 and I am on a mission to complete 1 conquest and complete the Destroyer Chapter. Probably shouldn't have waited until the last minute, but hey I got a day job. I decided to do lower rifts than what I was doing to make sure I could complete them, but at the cost of a lower upgrade chance for my gems. By the end of the hour, I manage by the to get one Gem up to 65 and two to 60.

We are in the home stretch with one hour to go until the end of Season 7. On a mission to complete 1 conquest and complete the Destroyer Chapter before it ends. At the start, my gems were two at 60 and one at 65. Will I make it or will I fail at my mission?

Season 7 is now over and now it is time to review the build I was using and give Raidan a nice long vacation. I really rather enjoyed the build I was using, but it did have its flaws.

One of the biggest I have complained about quite a bit is the inability to open doors when I wanted to. This is due to the cool down on my skills was too long and I had no quick skills to just break open doors. This maybe due to I was playing Solo, but the build did say it was suitable for solo. Which it was, but it would have been nice to not have to wait to open doors sometimes.

Positives of the build was it is very easy to use. It is not one of those builds where you have to time skill just right and pay extreme attention. So, it is really one of those builds you can just zone out and play. However, you do have to make sure your Gargantuans are doing what they should be doing and not off killing some trash mob. Rift Guardians are not that bad at all and you can even hide behind walls and just let your pets do all the work for you. I think this is one of the reasons it makes a really good higher Grift build due to you don't have to tank the Rift Guardian.

Again very nice build and would recommend it for anyone wanting to play a Witch Doctor for the first time.

Build Link: http://www.diablofans.com/builds/82218-2-4-2-helltooth-gargs-95-solo-grift-build

Final Stats:

Class: Witch Doctor Non-HC
Final Paragon: 600
Highest Grift Solo: 70

Diablo 3 Season 7: We Ain't Got Time For This!

Again we are back with Grifting and this time I managed to finally push through Grift 70...and then promptly fail Grift 71 and 69. It seems the RNG was not in my favor for grifts this evening. It is probably the way the game tells people to stop playing and just wait for next season.  However, progress is progress and with two days to go to complete Destroyer (not Slayer!).

Diablo 3 Season 7: I need a doorman!

We are now in the last few days of the season which means any final things I wanted to get done need to get done! This time, I focused on leveling my gems up from 49 to 57. I still want to really get at least one conquest done before the season ends, even if I do not complete the Slayer chapter.

No Man’s Sky: Space Mechanic

As I continue my journey through space I needed to fix the rest of my ship up since it would be pretty hard to be flying around with a half broken ship. I was able to repair pretty much everything except a coolant system and the warp drive. I guess both can wait until another time.

I did find another ship, but it was worse than what I currently have and I really like having as much storage space as possible. I am quickly learning the Vy'Keen language too! Still not fluent enough though to do their word puzzles.

Weekly Pokemon Go Update

Not much has again happened, but I figure I would recap some of my finds this week.

I found my first new  Pokemon in quite a while which was Goldeen.

I also found a very nice Tentacool.

Last, but not least I hatched another Poliwag. I am well on my way to making my Poliwag army like I did in Pokemon Blue and Red.

Diablo 3 Season 7: RNG let me count the ways

More Grifting and continuing my quest towards the conquest for solo grifting. Not much happened really of notice, but I did fail Grift 70 due to I got a really bad rift spawn. RNG let me count the ways that you hate me so. From bad item drops to making sure my follower does all that is possible to get me killed you always show such disdain for me.

I am hoping my next Diablo 3 video will be more interesting due to I hope to complete Grift 70 and get my gems to level 50.

Plague Inc. Evolved: Flu Shot Special

In honor of getting my flu shot today, I decided to play some Plague Inc. Of course, I played as a virus naming each virus I played as after one of the viruses in the current flu vaccine this year.

Please remember to get your flu shot this year if you are in the United States so we don’t end up like we do in this game and if not for that reason do it to keep others from getting sick.

For more information on the flu shot or where to get one see the CDC helpful page here: http://www.cdc.gov/flu/

Diablo 3 Season 7: Yay Sound!

After having technical difficulties yesterday with my sound I was able to finally get a good stream today. Sadly with the lack of sound yesterday made for a painfully boring stream so I will spare the internet from that horror.

Yesterday, I did manage to finally complete a set dungeon using the Arachyr Set. It was much easier than the Helltooth and I would highly recommend anyone needing the set dungeon requirement to go for that set. This allowed me to complete the Champion Chapter and move on to Slayer.

I mainly focused on trying to do T12 rift in 6 minutes or less, but I didn’t manage to accomplish this due to poor rift spawns. I also replayed Grift 66 since that was my other major achievement from my silent stream. Beat my time too. Finished off by killing both Adria and Diablo on T13 to finish up more parts of the Slayer Chapter.

Summoners War: Level 50!

Yet again I managed to max out in Summoners War. Now to wait for the next time they raise the level and be annoyed when it happens.

Weekly Pokemon Go Update

Not much has happened this week in terms of Pokemon Go. No leveling and no interesting Pokemon to report.  However, I will say Magikarp will have fins of steel by the time I get enough candies for him to turn into a Gyarados.

Diablo 3 Season 7: I hate Set Dungeons

I attempted to do the Helltooth Set Dungeon and failed horribly. I really wish Blizzard would redo these so they are actually doable or move them up higher in the seasonal journey. They are extremely frustrating, annoying and not fun to do the way they are currently set up.

I gave up on the set dungeon and decided to do Grifts instead. Managed to complete 64 and 65 this time around!

Diablo 3 Season 7: Fear my Kitty!

Kadala decided to have some mercy on me with my failure of getting the Mojo I need for the Helltooth Set Dungeon. She instead giving me the Kitty Mojo which I have been dying to get since it was first released. Though the snakes really worked well for the Witch Doctor look, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be carrying around a kitty instead. I am very happy with my decision. :3

I was able to complete Grift 63, but I failed 64 after getting killed way too many times. So, it looks like for now 64 is my cap till I can get some better gear and level my gems up.

Some notable loot from doing Grifts was an Ancient Uhkapian Serpent. It wasn’t the best roll and it was instantly turned into a Kitty. Hopefully, I will get lucky with farming off video and get that mojo I need for the Helltooth Set Dungeon.

No Mans Sky: Burglary and New Ship!

After looking through suggestions on how to break into a building without getting murdered by the Sentinels, it turns out the best way to do so is to just brute force your way in and ignore the mob of angry sentinels shooting at you. This plan actually worked very well and they were called off after I got into the building. So I got my plan for the antimatter so I can now make my own.

I decided to go off and do some more exploring. In the process, I got news of another crashed ship! I quickly flew over to see what it was. It was a much better ship than what I had (though be it had less storage). I managed to get it flying but there really isn't much I can do till I find more supplies. It was kind of painful to leave my little ship behind that had served me well, but it was really time for me to move on to a better craft. RIP Rustbucket.

Weekly Pokemon Go Update

There has been quite a bit of progress in Pokemon Go this week. I reached level 23 and had quite a few interesting catches this week.

Starting off the week I caught the words most Evil Raticate.

Continuing on, I found a rather nice Horsea.

After that, I found the world’s worst Pidgeot.

Last but not least, I hatched a Poliwag. It is required I report all Poliwags I get due to they are awesome and adorable.

That sums up this week. Since I have not posted my top Pokemon in awhile I figure I would include it this week. Some things have changed, but there really isn’t much movement.

Diablo 3 Season 7: Dead Ends and Grift 62

More Grifting on my Witch Doctor. I am still trying to finish up the build I will need in order to do the Helltooth Set Dungeon without ripping my hair out. Hopefully, that will be my next video provided the RNG gives me the Mojo I need.

This time, I was able to get one of my Gems to 25 finally and also managed to survive 4 unique packs at once. Sadly, the map generator decided to hate me and kept giving me maps with quite a few dead ends which lead to me backtracking a lot. Ended on Grift 62 with just under 2 minutes to spare.

No Man's Sky: New Solar System Old Problems

Even after finding that ship again I started up my game to find out that the ship was no longer in existence. I was extremely peeved by this due it took me 30 minutes of game sickness to find the thing. I tried several reloads to get it to show up with no avail, I guess someone else came by and took the thing.

So, I decided it was time to leave this planet behind and complete the Warp Drive thing it has been trying to get me to do all along. After acquiring the fuel needed and blasting off to the next neighbouring solar system I found myself on a new world and with new aliens. With that a new challenge of figuring out how to craft more antimatter so I can continue exploring more solar systems and maybe eventually replace my faithful rust bucket of a ship.

Weekly Pokemon Go Update

Yet again not much to report in the world of Pokemon Go, except that  I did manage to unlock the easter egg from the newly implemented buddy system.

As a note, it does remember the distance you walked with your Pokemon permanently, so once you have unlocked the easter egg it will always be unlocked with that Pikachu which I think is a nice touch.  Now that this is done I will now put a Magikarp as my buddy till I get enough candies to actually evolve one into a Gyarados. Which will be 356 kilometers or about 222 miles in my case. This is going to be awhile and that fish better have fins of steel by the end of this.

In other news before heading to bed yesterday I did have a very nice Gastly show up in my apartment. Guess he was just stopping by to haunt the place.

Diablo 3 Season 7: Ubers and Grift 59

Yet again playing Diablo 3 and this time I thought it would be good to take care of the Ubers for the Seasonal Journey. Still need to do the Set Dungeon, but I will save that for another day. Mr. Kulle was nice enough to give me a pretty decent Furnace, but sadly I need it for the cube. After doing Ubers I did some more Grifts and managed to make it to 59. I think I will be doing more Gem grinding off stream due to its reached that point in the grinding, but I will save any Grift pushing for videos.

Summoners War: Next 6 Star and Another Fusion Done!

This morning I was able to finally get enough 5 star rainbowmon to 6 star another monster. I decided to 6 star my Fire Hell Lady (Raki) since she was my first natural 5 star and I think she will be useful for arena. Now the loads of fun leveling her up.

Next thing I was able to do with the help of a exp booster was complete the Water Horus fusion for the second time (again I have a monster hordering problem). This just leaves the Wind Kung Fu Girl and I can reclaim my award of having gotten all the fusion monsters in the game.

Pokemon Go Buddy!

An off schedule update, but it really couldn’t wait. Pokemon Go finally released their update for iPhone and I couldn’t wait to share my first buddy.

Sadly since Poliwags are a bit more common in my area he was switched out for a Pikachu who would gain candy faster as well. Don’t worry Poliwag you will get your chance though. *hugs*

Diablo 3 Season 7: DC my Old Friend

After a bit of a break,  I finally got some time to stream again. I was actually doing pretty well till I got disconnected which is why the video is shorter than normal. It was actually Battle.net failing and not my internet. Sadly I didn’t get to finish GR 54, but I at least reached paragon 300 before that happened.

I guess this was my sign I really need to clean my stash out.

Summoners War: Got a Panda and a Fox!

Well after a long time of leveling and farming I finally completed the Fire Panda Warrior Fusion. Now that the hard part is over with I just need to now finish the other two fusions one more time and I’ll be done with all the fusion monsters. Yes, I have a problem with collecting monsters.

Today I used my summoning stones as well trying to get a Chloe or Camilla. Sadly didn’t get either, but I did get a Water Nine-tailed Fox. Don’t think she is useful for anything, especially since I already have a Fire Nine-tailed Fox who is much better.

Weekly Pokemon Go Update

Sadly due to being so busy this week I was unable to do much farming for Pokemon and thus couldn’t even level any of my Pokemon. However, I am waiting impatiently for the Buddy system to be released and more reviews on the Pokemon Go Plus accessory in terms of its usefulness.

Hopefully, next week’s update will be much better.

Diablo 3 Season 7: Pushing the Grifts

Yet again I am pushing my Witch Doctor to her limits in the Greater Rifts. This time, I was able to get my last gem I needed and get several legendaries I need for my build I’m doing. These included Tasker of Theo, Sacred Harvester, and The Short Man’s Finger! So things are looking up in the world of Diablo!

EpiPen Tycoon: I am a Terrible Person :(

This game was recommended for me to try playing since I like playing games that are on current issues. Well, this one can’t be more current since was just in the news last week that the company that created EpiPens (Mylan) jacked the price up to $600. This once again brought up the discussion of profits over people’s lives since really that is the only use of this medication is to save people from anaphylaxis which is extremely deadly if immediate action isn’t taken.

I will say this game is left leaning due to comments made about big business. I think the game does an ok job at showing the problem with any product that has an inelastic demand (such as medications) when it is left up to the private sector to handle it. It will also make you feel like a horrible person as the bodies pile up outside your company’s doorstep.

Play the Game Here: http://www.epipentycoon.com/

Weekly Pokemon Go Update

It is Monday and we all know what that is! Pokemon Go Update Day!. Sadly not much has changed this week due to my most powerful Pokemon are taking more and more stardust to level and my farming can’t keep up with them. I guess this means I need to start walking more. *legs fall off*

I am looking forward to the Pokemon buddy system that will be coming with the next update. I would love to evolve some of my other Pokemon to help fill out my Pokedex. Plus, I would love to see my Poliwag walking next to me in game.

Diablo 3 Season 7: Getting them Gems

Wow! Part 10 already and I didn’t even know it until I realized I forgot to move my last stream video into the archive folder!  Thanks for all the support and tips I have been getting! It has been a major help as I start my journey as a streamer. You guys are awesome!

Anyway, a good friend of mine actually helped me out with farming legendaries for my stream. So, I almost had a full stash tab as well as an almost full stash of blood shards to start off the stream. Nothing very good, but the forgotten souls will be needed later.

The RNG was in my favor and I actually started getting some of the legendary gems I need for my build as well as some nicer pieces of equipment. Still, I am having some problems on T10, but once I get these gems leveled it sound be easier. Went from paragon 199 to 222 so making them gains.

Also…it seems the Templar may have X-ray vision or at least can see through walls/doors? This may go to explain his behavior. O_o’

No Man’s Sky: Repair Fail

It turns out I am indeed an idiot when it comes to fixing things. I was unable to figure out how to fix the space ship I found due to it wasn’t obvious to me that I had to hit the “Accept” button at the bottom of the screen to actually change ships.

Instead I decided to go out and work on getting a Hyper Drive to you know do more space stuff. Turns out there are now even more creatures out to kill me on this planet. In addition to the headcrabs, I now have praying mantises, and what look like mountain goats now after my head…yay…

However, I may put my journey back into space on the back burner now that I know how to fix and repair ships now. Guess I got to now find that ship again…without a map. Something tells me this may take awhile.

No Man’s Sky: Onward to Explore Everything!

I decided that I wanted to try and get myself a new ship. However, every ship I came a crossed cost way too much and I quickly scrapped that idea after nearly getting killed by headcrabs. Well I was running around trying to find a cheaper ship, I was making a lot of headway with this Alien race called the Korvax and they actually started liking me. I was picking up quite a few words from their language and I decided why not try to help them out some.

The first thing I did was I decided to try and find some Platinum for this one guy, but I ended up finding a weird device which showed a Monolith on the map. Figured, hey this can’t be that bad! Let’s check it out! Turns out it was a good thing and I got more favor with their race and learned more words.

I found the Platinum I needed, but I ran into another problem. I couldn’t find my way back to the base I was at in order to give the guy the stuff. I did end up finding a few more waypoints and another one of these weird devices that this time showed my a location of a crashed ship. I once again set out, this time figuring I would be helping some Korvax guy fix his ship and get some more props from their race.

Well to my surprise the poor pilot was dead and left his pretty broken down ship behind. Which to my delight, I can fix. Looks like I found my new ride.

Diablo 3 Season 7: Surviving the Grifts

Due to I am hitting the grinding phase of Diablo 3 I figure it would be best to only stream the interesting stuff and do the boring stuff offline. Depending on how boring it is I may not even blog about it, but I shall play it by ear. So, I will be streaming Diablo 3 less, but I plan on saving all legendaries, blood shards and death breaths for the stream. I will stream once I hit a full stash tab of legendaries or I hit my blood shard cap. I will be starting each stream with a legendary item reveal, blood shard gambling and cubing. Those out there who can’t get enough gambling make sure to check out my stream as soon as it starts.

This time, I actually had a viewer pop into the stream which was a nice change from just talking to myself. I was able to complete Grift 45 (Torment 10) barely, which I think is a pretty nice accomplishment. I only recorded paragon levels 155 - 180, but I did some farming before hand to get some more legendaries and blood shards for the stream. I am able to do T8 pretty well now.

In addition, well I was farming I came a crossed one of those special treasure goblins that drop pets. I think my new pet suits my Witch Doctor very nicely.

Weekly Pokemon Go Update

This week I actually had quite a shift in my top Pokemon. I ended up with quite a few higher level common Pokemon that I decided I would just evolve to get some higher CP Pokemon. I did get another Flareon as well who even beat out my Vaporeon in CP.

I was able to do quite a bit of leveling up as well due to I walked every day to work this week. This allowed me wrack up the stardust and get the one badge I really am looking forward to getting gold.

For those of us in the United States, 100 kilometers is 62.1371 miles and yes I did walk all of it. Goes to show that gaming is a wonderful way to encourage exercise.

Summoners War: This Month Dark Scroll

Looks like I got lucky with my Light Dark Scroll this month. Based on the user rating this guy is pretty good.

No Man’s Sky: Aliens!

After last failure of crashing my space ship so badly it killed both the game and my recording software, I decided to switch recording formats in order to try and make sure the recording is preserved when something like that occurs. This time, I didn’t have to worry about it since I was finally able to land on my first new planet without everything crashing (including my ship). What was even better was the planet wasn’t a complete death trap. Sure the local headcrab like things were not too happy for me landing on top of them, but I could actually run around without fear of dying.

I ended up spending most of the time just flying from point A to point B due to I was trying to pay attention to what the game was leading me to. In this case, it was leading me to my first sentient Alien lifeforms which I could interact with. I was actually pretty happy about this since my inventory space was running pretty low and I needed to sell stuff. I even was able to buy a nicer multi-tool from them.

Diablo 3: Farming Progress

I decided to not stream Diablo 3 today since I figure it was better to spend my time farming which is kind of boring to watch and also try to commentate on. However, I made sure to save all the blood shards, death breath, and legendaries for the stream. Sadly, the legendaries are not anything to party about, but hey that is the RNG making sure I work for everything I get.

Pokemon Go: Got a Flareon!

I finally got the last Eevee evolution. I did use the rename trick and so far it does seem to be working for me.

Pokemon Go: Level 22!

On my way home from work today I finally hit level 22 in Pokemon Go. Considering how long it is starting to take me to level up it is worth a celebration.

And yes I’m on Team Mystic.

No Man's Sky: Getting off this Ice cube

So after some reading about the game, I figured it would be best to leave my starting planet behind and try to find a better planet to explore. However, in order to do so, I needed to collect the material in order to repair my ship. This turned out to be easier said than done. I nearly froze to death on a few occasions, then got murdered by Sentinels again for accidently trying to break into their what I think was a base trying to seek shelter from freezing to death, and then had to run away from a giant “gentle” bird T-Rex thing due to I accidently shot it.

Eventually, I did get the material I was looking for and was able to fix my ship and take off the planet. I decided to go for the first plant I could see and attempted to land. Then my game crashed and then OBS crashed taking the original recording with it. Sadly the video is of poor quality due to its an export from Twitch, but it is all I have of the adventure of trying to get off my home planet.

Diablo 3 Season 7: Finally got a socket!

Myraim was finally nice enough to give me a socket for once after who knows how many tries. I was able to complete Chapter IV  of the seasonal journey (Yay for Demonic looking Pony!) and I reached paragon 100 in the process. I didn’t record paragon levels 93-99 since it was going to be pretty boring watching me slowly do rifts, but I did save the one legendary I got and the blood shards for the stream.

Now that I have the entire Helltooth set things are going much better and faster. I was able to start doing Great Rifts at about T7 Level with little difficulty. This allowed me to get some more key pieces of equipment I need for my build I am doing.

However, this isn’t the best news. The best news is my Witch Doctor is now actually looking like a Witch Doctor again and not like a 5 year old dressed her.

Weekly Pokemon Go Update

I was able to get out and do some farming this weekend. Still not much has changed. Pinsirs still are dominating my top list, but I did find a pretty powerful Zubat which I evolved into a nice Golbat. Though I really need to do some Pokemon inventory clean up. It takes me forever to get through the Pidgeys and Weedles. Why can’t I have this problem with Poliwags?

I am painful close to level 22 as well.

No Man’s Sky: I have no Idea what I am doing

I decided to change things up a bit and try a new game that has been hitting the news quite a bit. No Man’s Sky, a survival style game with a Sci-Fi theme. I decided to avoid looking up any information on the game to avoid spoilers and to not cheat at learning curve of the game. I heard the learning curve on this game is a bit hard since there really isn’t a tutorial and you really just dive right into the game. I am also really bad with survival games in general so any help I could find may not help prevent me from dying over and over again.

Now that I have played it I can say it is not too bad, but I also didn’t know what I was doing for most of the time I was playing. I am still left wondering why I had robots that I initially thought were peaceful start attacking me and sending everything but a death ray to come kill me (which they did). Overall I’m more annoyed with my starting world due to I am constantly having to run back to my ship to prevent myself from freezing to death. Hopefully, as I progress this will become less of an issue and I really really hope there is a way to get more inventory space.

Diablo 3 Season 7: The RNG Hates Me

Finally, after spending days working through computer issues on my spare machine (RIP MacBook battery) I was able to finally do a stream of Diablo 3. Still, Myriam is refusing to give me a socket and now Kadala has joined her in a pact with the RNG to make my life as difficult as possible. Sadly rifts are going super slow for me due to I am not doing enough damage.

No new gear this time as well. So no need to post an image of my Witch Doctor’s current state. Feel free to check the previous post if you want to see how horrible the yellow clashes with the Helltooth set.

Diablo 3 Season 7: Curse you Myriam!

This evening I decided to play Diablo 3 again without streaming since my friend wanted to help me out some more. I am almost done with Chapter IV of the seasonal journey, but for one thing. Getting a socket in a weapon. However, after running out of gold and all of my forgotten souls I wasn’t able to get one. I’m pretty sure Myriam has had a talk with the RNG and is now making sure I don’t get anything easy. Even just getting a socket in a weapon.

I was able to complete a Greater Rift 20 with ease and I also got the bracers I needed for the build I am planning on doing thanks to Kadala for once. I made it from Paragon 63 - 86 as well.

On the appearance front…still not looking the greatest. The yellow really clashes with the rest of the Helltooth Set.

Weekly Pokemon Go Update

Not much has changed this week due to I wasn’t able to get out farming. Hopefully next week will be better and maybe I will hit level 22.

Summoners War: Sky Tribe Totem Level 9

Though this is a game I will most likely not blog too much about since I am pretty much at end game and there is little for me to achieve at this stage in the game without a lot of work. I have been playing this game for well over a year now and it is a nice time waster.

I am starting to focus more on ruining my monsters, so I can get through the Trial of Ascension. However, being the best really hasn’t been a number one priority in the game for me since I started playing. I have always been more of a collector in these kinds of games than having the best monsters. My monsters still cannot clean the Hall of Heros no matter what above B1 which is making this HoH a bit hard this time since I didn’t have time this weekend to grind it. Oh well, didn’t need that Wind Horus anyway since I already have one.

However, I finally am one level away from maxing Sky Tribe Totem. Sweet sweet 15% Speed Bonus here I come.
